While there are many great apps for Mastodon, they are built around the core experience of
Mastodon as a social network. So, it’s easy for great content to pass you by, in your timeline, as
you read posts, reply to people, favorite posts, etc.
Gazzetta can be thought of as an RSS reader for Mastodon. It presents an interface, separate
from the social network, to give you the time and space to read the news and links you care
about.
- Follow servers (e.g. flipboard.social) and see all the trending links.
- Follow accounts (e.g. [email protected]) and see all the links they’ve posted.
- Login to your own accounts and see all the links posted by the people you follow.
- Full-text search allows you to find the content you’re looking for.
- Read the links in Safari View Controller, with secure, private access to your passwords, and
extensions. - Add links to bookmarks, favorites, and reading list, in-app.
- Alternatively, add links to Safari Reading List.
- Export your bookmarks, favorites and reading list to an HTML document.
- Filter links by domain, keyword, and language.
- Customize your experience:
- Font styles and sizes
- Hide thumbnails and icons
- Hide authors, comments, dates, descriptions, publishers, sources, etc.
- Limit title and description lengths
- Date formats/styles
